Why we exist

Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow and thrive. We combine traditional and modern learning with practical relief to raise well-rounded, knowledgeable and compassionate individuals, one act of kindness at a time.

Our mission: To ensure that every child, regardless of background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive, and that every family in hardship finds relief and hope.
Our vision: Uplifted communities across Nigeria and beyond, raising well-rounded, knowledgeable and compassionate individuals who carry kindness forward.
Our promise: To treat every person we serve with dignity and every gift we receive as a trust.

What we do

Four ways we turn kindness into lasting change.

Our programmes meet children and families where they are: in the classroom, in the circle of learning, at home and in times of hardship.

Featured project: Um Omarah

Where faith and learning grow together.

Um Omarah gives young boys and girls quality Islamic education alongside formal learning and essential life skills. We restored a run-down compound in Kawo, Kaduna, and turned it into a safe, bright place where character, discipline and knowledge grow side by side.

Twenty boxed sets of the Qur'an prepared for distribution

Qur'anic learning

Twenty sets of the Qur'an, and the teachers to bring them to life.

A Qur'an on a shelf is a blessing. A Qur'an in the hands of a child who is learning to read it is a blessing that grows. We distribute copies to learners and teachers, and pair them with patient lessons in Arabic letters, recitation and good character.
